Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata (Kerk van de Aankondiging), Pontremoli, Toscane, Italië. De kerk werd aan het einde van de vijftiende eeuw gebouwd op wens van een arts, Princivalle Villani, na een verschijning van de Maagd Maria bij een altaar langs de weg, waarin een fresco van de aankondiging was geschilderd (te zien op de foto). Voor de bouw van de kerk werd de weg zelfs om de kerk heen geleid.

Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata (Church of the Annunciation), Pontremoli, Tuscany, Italy. The church was built at the end of the fifteenth century at the request of a physician, Princivalle Villani, after an apparition of the Virgin Mary at an altar by the road, in which a fresco of the announcement was painted (shown in the photo). For the construction of the church, the road was even led around the church.    [153161]
